Not Legal Advice
AmendTrack provides educational information, not legal advice. Our plain-language explanations, impact descriptions, and other content are designed to help you understand amendments, but they are not substitutes for professional legal counsel. If you need legal advice about an amendment or your voting rights, please consult a qualified attorney.
Information Accuracy
We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee that all information on the Service is complete, accurate, or current. Amendment statuses, deadlines, and requirements change frequently. Always verify critical information with your state's official election or Secretary of State website.
AI-Generated Content
Responses from our AI Q&A feature are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. AI responses should be treated as a starting point for research, not as authoritative legal or factual statements.
E-Signature Validity
While we work to ensure e-signatures comply with applicable state laws, the validity of electronic petition signatures ultimately depends on state regulations and verification processes outside our control.
Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- AmendTrack and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to AmendTrack (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for any actions taken by state officials, election authorities, or third parties based on petitions or signatures submitted through the Service
- We are not liable for any inaccuracies in third-party data or AI-generated content
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
- For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service
